DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1 – Victoria Falls (BB)

Arrive at Victoria Falls International airport. You will be met by one of our representatives and transferred the short distance to Vic Falls town.

(It is also possible to fly into Livingstone and transfer from there, but we don’t recommend it as it takes a lot longer and you end up paying additional visa fees!)

Your overnights in the Falls will be at Ilala Lodge or similar. Bed & breakfast included.

Depending on your time of arrival, we plan to take you on a guided tour of the Falls (Zimbabwe side) as well as a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, which will include drinks and snacks, and return transfers from your hotel.

We will conduct a short pre-safari briefing – once all guests are settled in (the time will be advised when you check in to your hotel) – before you head off to Hwange.

UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site

Victoria Falls and Zambezi National Parks are situated on the western tip of Zimbabwe. The Falls, known by the local Kololo tribe as MosioaTunya - The Smoke that thunders, is one of the "Seven Wonders of the World" and one of the largest and most spectacular waterfalls on earth.

The Falls are 1,7 kilometres wide and nearly 550 million litres of water cascade 70 to 108 metres into the chasm below -every minute- during the Zambezi River's peak flow.

Victoria Falls is made of five different "falls".
Four of these are in Zimbabwe: The Devil's Cataract, Main Falls, Rainbow Falls and Horseshoe Falls -and one, The Eastern Cataract, is in the bordering country of Zambia.
