Madaba Mukawir King’s Highway Petra Wadi Rum Amman Um Qais Ajlun

Tour Detail

Day 1 • Queen Alia Airport – Madaba

Upon arrival, a member of our staff will meet you at Queen Alia International Airport for assistance with customs and immigration procedures. Transfer 45:00 minutes to our hotel in Madaba to check in and time to Rest. After breakfast at 9.00 depart to visit the Bethany beyond the Jordan at Jordan River, visit the Cave of Saint Marry the Egyptian, Madaba, Mt. Nebo. Afternoon return to our hotel in Madaba for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 • Madaba – Mukawir – King’s Highway – Petra

Breakfast at our hotel, this morning we will drive to visit Mukawir it is also one of the designated pilgrimage sites for the year 2000. The top of Mount Mukawir overlooks a breathtaking view of the Dead Sea. Then we should drive through the king’s highway to Petra for a short visit with entry by the Siq, Treasury, Street of Facades, Royal Tombs, Roman Theatre, Byzantine Church. Walk back to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 • Petra – Wadi Rum – Amman

Breakfast at our hotel, this morning we will drive south for four hours jeep tour in Wadi Rum, also known as The Valley of the Moon, is a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in south Jordan. In the West, Wadi Rum may be best known for its connection with British officer T. E. Lawrence, which described it as "Vast, echoing and God-like". Afternoon, we will drive via the desert highway to Amman for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 • Amman – Um Qais – Ajlun – Amman – Queen Alia Airport

Breakfast at our hotel, this morning we will visit the Greek Orthodox Church in Amman, then we will drive up north to Um Qais the dramatic black-basalt Roman Decapolis city overlooking the Golan Heights and Sea of Galilee, then continue to Ajlun and visit Tall Mar Elias; Associated with the Prophet Elijah, Tall Mar Elias is very close to the ruins of a village known as Listib. It is believed that this place was formerly Tishbi, the home of Elijah, a native of Giliad in Transjordan (2Kings 17:1). The presence of two churches, built on the Tall (hilltop) at the end of the Byzantine period, substantiates the fact that this was a religious site. Late afternoon return to our hotel to relax, dinner and late check out to and transfer to Queen Alia airport to catch our late flight early morning of day 5, with the assistance of our airport representative.
