Spend the full day looking for great predators and other wild animals in the Mara. Enormous herds of grazing animals can be spotted on the plains while the elusive cheetah and leopard hide amidst acacia boughs. An optional visit to a Masai village can be planned during your stay. Masai warriors are famous for being a proud nomadic tribe known for their legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with wild animals. Wake up early for a game drive and then return to the hotel for a full breakfast before leaving for Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley. After eating lunch you will go on an exciting game drive until the evening. Nakuru features over 350 bird species, including the greater and lesser flamingoes, plovers, marabou stork, white pelican and egrets. Don’t forget the white and black rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe, lion, zebra, antelope, buffalo and other wild animals! Lunch will be served en route to Samburu Game Reserve. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 4
Lake Nakuru - Samburu National Reserve

Today we will depart for Samburu, traveling by road to Kenya’s northern frontier district. Wild and rugged, Samburu arid savannahs are watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe, to Grevy’s zebras, beisaoryxes, gerenuk gazelle and greater and lesser kudu.

..........................................................................................................................................................

Day 5
Samburu National Reserve

The full day will be spent in Samburu National Park. This is a great opportunity to watch elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs thrive in the reserve’s grasslands and acacia woodlands. The day will be spent in alternating your pursuits in the bush. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

...........................................................................................................................................................

Day 6
Samburu - Aberdare National Park

Today you will depart for Aderdare National Park, which is located in an isolated volcanic range that forms the eastern wall of the rift valley and runs roughly 100km north-south between Nairobi and Thomsons Falls. The soils here are red, of volcanic origin and rich in organic matter. There are two main peaks: Ol Donyo Lesatima (3,999m) and Kinangop (3,906m), separated by a long saddle of alpine moorland at over 3,000m. The topography here is diverse, with deep ravines that cut through the forested eastern and western slopes and many clear streams and waterfalls. The unusual vegetation, rugged terrain, streams and waterfalls combine to create an area of great scenic beauty. Spend the rest of the afternoon watching wildlife at the floodlit Saltlick waterhole.
