First go to Golden Pebble Beach, Located on the coast of the Yellow Sea southeast of Jinzhou District and 58 square kilometers from the center of Dalian, Golden Pebble Beach covers an area of 62 square kilometers, and is one of Mother Nature's better creations. This famous beach combines the elements of sea, beaches, cliffs and islands all in one place. Of special interest are the peculiar geological formations; the sedimentary rock, eroded by the sea over the years has taken on unusual and beautiful forms, such as "Huge roc spreading its wings", "Dinosaur swallowing the sea". The images are as vivid as life and as grand as you can imagine which gain the title of "the solidified animal world". The "turtle-shell rocks", a geological specimen of aggradations environment, is formed in the simian era 600 million years ago, and presently has the largest volume and the clearest section construction in the world. The Golden Pebble Beach is also named as the “Marvelous Sculpture Park". 

Then ,Tiger Beach Scenic AreaThe name of the beach is derived from the fact that a rock outcropping in the sea looks like a sleeping tiger. To the eastern part is the Tiger Beach Park covers 15700 square meters, highlighting the largest granite sculpture in China, where "the running tigers sculpture"- the largest animal sculpture in the world. Six vivid sculpture tigers make the irregular square the most outstanding among dozens of squares in Dalian. To the southwest of Tiger Beach lies Singing Birds Woods, covering 4,500 square meters with a gigantic bird cage which is 36.4 meters long and 7 meters high. It is also the natural habitat of thousands of birds. New highlights include a polar aquarium, a world's biggest coral exhibition hall and a water-skiing course.

At last  Built up in 1899 by Russians, this is the oldest square in Dalian. Its name evolved from the "Nicholas Square" under Tsarist Russian concession, to "Big Plaza" within the Japanese colonization, and then "Zhongshan" (the formal name of Dr. Sun Yat-sen) after the Liberation (1945). Zhongshan Square lies in the eastern part of the city. The diameter of this round-shaped square reaches 200 meters, 36 series of acoustics stand around the square of 22, 000 square meters. The square is also the first musical square in China. In 1995, 36 sets of audio systems were equipped around it. At every dawn and dusk, people crowd here to play Chinese chess, kick shuttlecocks, dance, do Taijiquan (Shadow Boxing) or see an outdoor movie, watch an entertainment show or enjoy concerts companied by the flowing music in the air. An open dance stage is located in the center of the square.
