Tour Detail

Day1:Arrive in Lhasa.

Our professional tour guide and driver will waiting for guests at Lhasa Kongga International Airport or Railway station.Giving you a warm welcome to wearing a HADA for you.Then drive to the hotel in Lhasa downtown for rest.

Day2:Lhasa city tour-Potala Palace-Johkang Temple-Barkhor Street

Enjoying the first sunrise from the last heaven on earth Lhasa,enjoying your breakfast at hotel. then waiting for tour-guide and drive you to our first view-spot【Potala Palace】which is the winter palace of the Dalai lama. It was put to use since the 7th Cent ury by the 33rd great king of Tibet. The most valuable collections of Potala Palace ar e the gilded burial stupas of former Dalai Lamas and meditation Cave of the 33rd gre at king of Tibet. After lunch,take a break, then guide to 【Johkang Temple】which wa s founded by the 33rd great king of Tibet in the 7th century. Inside you can see the Lhasa 3 stars (B)
statue of Buddha Sakyamuni at the age of twelve. Outside, you can see pilgrims maki ng prostrating in front of Jokhang Temple. Around the temple is Barkhor street, where you can do kora (a religious circle of a building or mountain) with pilgrims and loca ls, and explore the old market.

Day3:Lhasa-Basum tso Lake-Nyingchi 

After breakfast, heading to Nyingchi via mira snowing mountain(5100).keep on driving,will get to 【Basum tso Lake】which is a stunning highland lake lying 90 kilometers west of Kongpo Gymdo County. Basum has another Tibetan name, Tsokou, which means “green water” in Tibetan. Besides offering awesome views, many glaciers on the upper reaches of the lake provide it with a constant supply of fresh water.The lake water is extremely clear - you can easily see the bottom of the lake from the surface. The snow-covered mountains and the virgin forests encircling the lake are reflected in the water, much like beautiful girls enjoying themselves in a mirror. Sand gulls, white cranes, and other water-birds fly across the lake surface, searching for food or playing with each other. Fish swim leisurely in the lake, like those elderly people who stroll in the park in the early morning enjoying the good times. The whole setting is rather harmonious.

Day 4:Nyingchi(bayi town)-Namjagbarwa peak(7782)-lhasa 

Today,our first destination is【Namjagbarwa peak】which is recognized as“oriental alps”,The winter air in Nyingchi is fresh, with proper humidity, from the Sejila mountain pass which is at a altitude of 4728m, visitors can watch the stunning sunrise, as well as the mesmerizing view of the sea of clouds or forests. Namjagbarwa, with an altitude of 7782m, is the fifteenth highest peak in the world. Since its giant triangular top is surrounded by mists and covered with snow all year long, the real appearance of the mountain is rarely seen, so it is nicknamed a “shy” mountain.then back to Lhasa .

Day5:Lhasa- via Gyantse to Shigatse (360km) 

After enjoy your breakfast at your hotel, drive from Lhasa to Shigatse .heading to our first view-spots【Yamdrok-tso lake 】(4400m) .The Lake is surrounded by many snow-capped mountains and in the distance you can have spectacular views of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar (7191m) the highest mountain near Lhasa .Later, we will pass and enjoy the 【Korola Glacier】 on the roadside; Then, we will arrive in Gyantse, historically Tibet’s third largest city (after Lhasa and Shigatse).In Gyantse, we will visit the famous 【Pelkor Chode Monastery】 and 【Gyantse Kumbum】 enjoy the Far view of Gyangtse Fortress.then keep driving ,we will arrive in our destination.

Day6:Shigatse (3900m) to Everest Base Camp(5200) 

After breakfast, we’ll leave Shigatse after getting your Alien’s travel permit, and then drive to Lhatse, it is a small town where you can have lunch.After that, we will pass Tsola Pass(4600M), and Gyatsola Pass(5248M). Shortly after we enter Mt. Everest National Nature Reserve, tourists can enjoy the panorama of Himalaya at Gawula Pass(5198m).Then we drive along the New zigzag road to Everest Base Camp(5200m). You can get closer to gazt at the Mt. Everest peak. The sunset of golden 【Everest peak 】if time and weather permits at the lodging area.Stay overnight at Rongbuk monastery guest house.

Day7:EBC (5200m) and return to Shigatse (3900m)

In the morning, enjoying the 【sunrise of Everest Peak 】 at the lodging area,but depends the climate. Then we will visit the 【Rongbu Monastery】 - the unique highest monastery with nuns and monks living together and later trek from lodging place to EBC (4kms, or take Eco bus). You can visit the Everest Base Camp and take the close-up shot of Mt. Everest. Finally, we will drive back to Shigatse.Stay overnight in Shigatse.

Day8:Shigatse (3900m) to Lhasa (3650m)350km 

After your breakfast, we will heading to【Tashilhunpo Monastery】which is one of the Six Big Monasteries of Gelugpa (or Yellow Hat Sect) in Tibet. Also called the Heap of Glory, it is located at the foot of Drolmari (Tara’s Mountain), Shigatse. Founded by the First Dailai Lama in 1447, the monastery’s structure was expanded by the Fourth and successive Panchen Lamas. Covering an area of nearly 300,000 square meters (3,229,279 sq. ft.), the main structures found here are The Maitreya Chapel, The Panchen Lama’s Palace and The Kelsang Temple. Tashilhunpo is the seat of the Panchen Lama since the Fourth Panchen Lama took charge in the monastery, and there are now nearly 800 lamas.then drive back to lhasa.Stay overnight in Lhasa.

Day9:Lhasa-Lake Namtso-Lhasa. 

In the morning, drive from Lhasa to【 Lake Namtso】, one of the four holy lakes of Tibet and also the highest saline lake in the world. On the way, you can see snow-capped Nyenchen Thanglha Mountain Ranges and lots of nomads and their tent with grazing yak and sheep densely-populated on the flourishing grassland ( in summer) . Besides, you can enjoy the view of Sky-Road Railway with snow mountain background; while standing at the famous Lagenla Mountain Pass(5190m), you can view the stunning vista of holy Namtso Lake.

Day10:Lhasa city town-airport or railway station.

After breakfast, our guide and driver will transfer you guys to airport or railway station.
