Get lost in time in Kuldiga's medieval town center; visit Europe's widest waterfall and camp in style on Europe's last wild coast line!

Tour Detail

A fantastic journey through rural Latvia all the way to Europe's last wild coast line!

On this very exclusive trip you will see Latvia's most beautiful historic town: Kuldiga, which is known for its medieval atmosphere and home to the widest waterfall in Europe: Ventas Rumba. You will discover Latvia's untouched wild coast line, a unique region home to many different plant and animal species. It's an amazing feeling to be walking along white cliffs with the view of the Baltic Sea on one side and the power of the forest on the other without almost no one around. A beer by the campfire is the perfect way to end this beautiful day and the next morning when you'll enjoy the sunset through the glass wall of your cabin .. you will feel like the king of the world.

Kuldiga

Kuldiga is a true hidden and unpolished gem. No wonder this beautiful town and its historic center is on its way to become an official UNESCO world heritage site. Besides being a remarkable and exceptionally beautiful town, it also hosts the widest waterfall in Europe: Ventas Rumba, with a magnificent red-brick bridge across the Venta River. Although it doesn't have a high drop, the sight is definitely most wonderful and breath taking. Take off your shoes for a rewarding walk over the rocks of this relatively unknown natural beauty. Or maybe change to your swimming suit and join the locals in having a swim in the river.

Jurkalne

After a beautiful walk in Kuldiga and a hearty meal, it's time to continue our journey to the coast where we will visit the cliffs of Jūrkalne. Because the coastal region was a heavily guarded border during the USSR-era where people couldn't settle, the area has remained pretty untouched. This is why Latvia has the longest wildest coastline in Europe!

Cape Kolka

We will continue our tour to the most northern point of Latvia's coast where the Gulf of Riga and the Baltic Sea come together. This will be your castle for tonight. After a walk on the beach and a swim in the sea, you can enjoy a campfire on the beach accompanied by some local cuisine. You can dream about today's adventures in an exclusive barrel-shaped cabin with a glass wall facing the sea. This way, you'll be able to enjoy the sunrise the morning after. This is the ultimate way to experience Latvia's beach and we're proud to say we're the only tour operator offering this possibility.

Livonian Coast

After breakfast it's time to drive back to Riga. We will drive along the coastline along some tiny fishing villages home to the last people of the Livonians, an old ethnic group, with their own language and customs, which only has a few hundred members left. You will have the chance to try some smoked fish, a local specialty!
