Take the Blue Mountains One Day Tour

Getting around while on an Australian holiday isn’t always easy. Dingo Travel understands the challenges of planning the perfect trip. That’s why we go out of our way to make the journey as convenient as possible for you! All you have to do is get up and get ready at your hotel or we will pick you up from there or another specified location.

Our tours will follow in the footsteps of the first explorers on 19th century as we head to the  Wildlife Park.
This fun attraction is home to kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, dingo, wombats and many other playful critters and vibrantly coloured birds.

Next we begin the drive  to the top of the 1,000 meter Nero Neck Lookout. This will be the first of many excellent photo opportunities, with a gorgeous view of canyons. This is also a key position to get a good look at the Jamison and Megalong valleys. Once you have taken it all in, we move to a cable car to ride on the steepest railway in the world *(train&cables fare and any additional purchases are the responsibility of the client).

After the 270 meter ascent, you will find yourself overlooking the Katoomba waterfall as well as the famous Three Sisters rock formation. Wander through the warm rain forest which offers 160 million years’ worth of natural history to discover. The next stop takes you to the pleasant village of Leura, Australia for an hour of lunch* and garden exploration (cost of food and all other purchases is not included in the tour package and is the responsibility of the client).

We don’t want to share too much information about the next stop on our Blue Mountains day trip. This is a secret location that we discovered through conventional travel that has remained unspoiled by tourists. Here you will get a 200 meter view from the top of a cliff. Words cannot do the experience justice. You must see it to truly appreciate the magnificence of the scenery far below. Take a quick walk along less travelled roads to see lush bush land. Get acquainted with local flowers and the native’s BMT trees before heading to the Waratah Aboriginal Culture House. This attraction allows visitors to meet local aborigines who will share intimate details about their culture as well as stories that have been passed down for thousands of years.

Now we reach the final leg of your Blue Mountains day tour, which includes a drive to Sydney Olympic Park. This venue hosts many national and international events, sports competitions and concerts.

A ferry ride along the Parramatta River leads us to Glenville Bridge and the Sydney Harbour. Savor the excellent view of the famous Sydney Opera House before heading to Circular Quay. The Blue Mountains day tour will end back in Sydney, usually around 6 pm.

In just one day, Dingo Travel can show you some of the most famous and beautiful landmarks in and around the Blue Mountains! Contact us today to start planning your dream tour.
