  • The tour lasts approximately 3 hours, with 45-50 minutes at each brewery.

What’s included in the price?

  • Safe transportation on the little blue bus

  • A fun tour guide/driver

  • Yummy pretzels to snack on!

  • Bottled water

  • Cooler to store your growlers
  • Option to bring craft beer to drink on the bus

Please note that most breweries do not serve food, but there are always food trucks parked right outside if you want to grab a snack.

First Stop:

A former light bulb factory is a new home to Able Seedhouse + Brewery, a Northeast Minneapolis brewery that not only makes craft beer, but also malts locally-sourced grains in-house. The brewery has a 20-barrel brewing system, a 2,000-square-foot taproom with about 150 seats, and a 1,200-square-foot patio area.

Second stop:

Founded by comedian Sam Harriman and his wife Catherine Cuddy, Sisyphus Brewing operates with a small, two-barrel system and features a rotating selection of beers. The 100-seat taproom has a stage for stand up comedy and live music and is open to both humans and dogs!

Third stop:

Qiuxia and Kevin Welch, owners of Boom Island Brewing, first started brewing beer in China and went to do extensive research in Belgium, before opening their first brewery here in Minneapolis. Their Belgium-style beers are fresh, unfiltered and 100% bottle conditioned. Highlights include: Silvius BPA, Thoprock IPA adn Hoodoo which tastes as awesome as it sounds.

Drop-off:

We circle back to downtown Minneapolis. The drop-off point is same as the pick-up point, Grumpy’s parking lot. If you don’t want to go home just yet, make sure to stop by Grumpy’s Bar or Day Block Brewing for even more delicious beer!

How much beer am I getting, again?

Our public tours are all-inclusive. You can get as much, or as little beer as your palate craves. Bonus: you can bring your own beer too! Because we support craft breweries, we insist you only bring craft beer on the bus. For example: Surly, Lagunitas, Lift Bridge = Good! Coors, Bud, Miller = Bad.

Cheers and have fun!
