Tour Detail

Day 1: 

After your arrival at Athens International Airport you will be collected by your private driver, who will take you to your 5 star-hotel, centrally located in Athens. Once you arrive at the hotel and check-in, you will be given an envelope with all necessary documents: your itinerary of your vacation, your tickets and vouchers. After you check in to your room and settle in, your private English-speaking guide will be waiting for you at the hotel lobby and will take you for a half-day private walking tour at Athens City Centre. You will pass through the Temple of Zeus, the National Garden, the Zappeion Centre, the Panathenaic Stadium –where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896-, the Parliament and the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier.  There you will be able to see the change of the “Evzones” guards and then you will keep your tour towards the National Library, the National Academy and the University of Athens.  Your tour will finish back at your hotel. At 19:30 you will visit for dinner one of the best restaurants of Athens, “Kuzina”, where you will enjoy a 3-course dinner from set menu options and one bottle of wine for every two people (the wine will be white or red variety of Greek wine, according to the wish of the customer). Transportation to and from the restaurant will be arranged by yourself. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

 

Day 2

After your breakfast, your private English-speaking guide will take you from the hotel lobby for your half-day tour of the Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum. You will visit the most famous ancient site of Europe and one of the Seven Wonders of Antiquity, the Acropolis. You will skip the lines of the tickets and you will start climbing the stairs to the monumental marble gates of the Propylaea and enter the magnificent Acropolis of Athens. There you will see the miraculous Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechthion Temple with the famous female “Caryatides” statues. Once you finish your exploration of the Parthenon, you will climb down and walk to the Acropolis Museum. Inside the beautifully and modern designed Museum, you will see with your guide statues and artefacts of everyday life, the “Caryatides” statues and the famous risers and friezes of the Acropolis. After the visit you will be taken back to your hotel.  Evening is free. Overnight.

 

Day 3

Today you will have an early start, because you will take the high-speed ferry to Mykonos island. Your private driver will take you to the port of Piraeus, where you will take the high speed ferry to the island of Mykonos at 7:00 am. After approximately 3 hours you will arrive at the island of Mykonos. Your private driver will be waiting for you and take you to your 4 star boutique hotel. After you check in and settle in, your private driver will be waiting for you to take you for a half-day private tour of Mykonos island. You will visit some of the most famous beaches and the inner landscape. We will see fishermen and traditional Greek fishing boats, small private chapels and houses built in typical Cycladic style. In the second main village of Mykonos, Ano Mera, an idyllic place not far away from Mykonos town, the guests will have enough free time for a stroll around the traditional square and they can visit the monastery of Panagia Tourliani, built in the 16th century. At lunch time, we will visit the tavern “Apaggio”, with great view of the deep blue Aegean sea. Here you will have a 3-course meal from a set-menu option with one bottle of wine for every two people (the wine will be white or red variety of Greek wine, according to the wish of the customer). Our next stop will be Kalafatis beach, where there is time to relax a little and have a coffee or a refreshment, before going back to town and to reach a place with a fantastic view all over Mykonos town and neighbor islands. Day 4 

In the morning you will leave your hotel with an escort/driver and arrive at 9:30 at the New Harbor of Mykonos, to take the half-day excursion to the island of Delos. With your voucher you will board the boat that you will take you to the sacred island of Apollo and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Delos Island is one of Greece’s most treasured ancient sites. It is a spectacular open-air museum, once a religious and commercial Centre of the Aegean, with breathtaking ancient temples, an agora, and a theatre. The wealthy mansions of the island, unique mosaics, the ancient theatre, the ancient marketplaces, the sanctuary of Apollo and the famous Lions still guarding the sacred birth place of Apollo are some of the places you visit while walking among the ancient streets of the most sacred and the most cosmopolitan place of antiquity. Around 14:30 you will be back in Mykonos where you will have the rest of the day free. Overnight.

 

Day 5

In the morning you will check out from your hotel and you will be transferred to the Port of Mykonos to take your high speed ferry to Santorini island. After 2.5 hours approximately you will arrive to Santorini and you will get off at Athinios Port. There your driver will be waiting for you to take you to your 4 star boutique hotel on the Caldera, with breathtaking views from your balcony! After you check in to your hotel and settle in, your professional English-speaking guide and oenologist will be waiting for you to take you for a private half-day panoramic tour and wine tasting experience of Santorini. You will explore the scenic island of Santorini starting at the white washed town of Oia nested in the hillsides, reflecting on the deep blue colors of the Aegean.  Then you will enjoy a short walking tour to discover hidden parts of the village unknown to visitors’ and reach the ruins of Oia's castle ideal for post-card photos against the backdrop of the charming windmills.

After some leisure time for shopping and refreshments head south to the island’s countryside to admire the impressive landscape filled with scenic villages and rolling hills. Then head to Perissa – the longest beach on the island covered with black volcanic sand for a stroll against the azure colors of the Aegean or venture up to the island's highest point, where the Prophet Elias Monastery is perched at nearly 2,000 feet (565 m), above Pyrgos village. Light up a candle in the interior and admire the far-reaching vistas that span the entire region before sampling the wine and extra virgin olive oil made onsite. Visit a traditional Santorini winery and sample different types of the Assyrtiko wine, while learning how wine is produced in such a dry and volcanic environment. Your tour will finish back to your hotel on time to experience the grand and globally famous sunset of Santorini. Evening is free. Overnight.

 

Day 6

Today you will be able to enjoy one of the best attractions of Santorini – the half-day Catamaran Semi-Private Sailing Trip. You will be collected from a specific place that will be indicated to you in your itinerary info and be taken to the Catamaran, which will leave at 9:30 am. The catamaran will sail to the most amazing sights of Santorini, like the Hot Springs, the Volcano and the Red & White Beaches. You can swim and snorkel at the crystal deep blue water of Santorini. Also, a delicious barbecue meal is freshly prepared on board for your lunch, accompanied by unlimited drinks such as white wine, soft drinks and water. The catamaran will be sailing close to Caldera cliffs and the Volcano. The program includes swimming and mud bath at the Hot Springs and then sailing close to Aspronisi and Akrotiri to see the Lighthouse and the Indian Face rock. Then you will visit the White and Red beaches and around 14:30 you will be back at the port, where you will be driven back to your departure point. Day 7

The morning today is free. In the afternoon you will be collected from your hotel by your driver, who will take you to Athinios port to take the high-speed ferry at around 17:30 for Iraklion, on the island of Crete. Crete is one of the world’s premier destinations and that is because Crete is something more that an island: It is a world unto itself. Both its natural beauty, with its spectacular mountain passes and panoramas that stand tall above the summery coastal cities and the beach resorts that rank amongst the best in the world, are only some of the unexpected treats that await the visitor to Crete. After approximately two hours, you will arrive at the Iraklion Port, where a private driver will be waiting for you to take you to your five star centrally-located hotel to check-in. The evening is free. Overnight. 

 

Day 8

In the morning your private English-speaking guide will welcome you and with your private transfer, you will visit the millennia-old Palace of Knossos for your half-day private visit. The Palace is the second most popular site in Greece, after the Acropolis. . With your expert guide, you will walk around the ruins and excavations of the ancient palace and learn about the Greek mythological tales that are linked to it. After exploring the labyrinth of corridors and rooms on the Knossos tour, you will visit the Archaeological Museum of Iraklion to see some of the wonders of the Minoan Civilization, like the frescoes, the double-axes, the disc of Phaistos and King Minoa's golden ring. After the visit to the Museum, your guide will take you to the centre of Iraklion to learn all about Crete’s main town. You will see the Lions’ Fountain and you will try the famous local dessert “bougatsa” with a cup of Greek coffee. Then, you will continue to the Venetian Loggia, the Church of Agios Titos and the Koules Venetian Fortress. After the tour is finished you will go back to your hotel to relax. For dinner we will have arranged for you around 19:00, a special local Cretan feast, in one of Iraklion most famous restaurants “Merastri”. You will have a 4-course dinner of set menu of traditional Cretan cuisine, accompanied with one bottle of red local wine for every two people. Day 9 

On your last day on the island, you will leave for Eastern Crete and the famous Bay of Elounda with your private English-speaking guide and private transfer for your half-day private tour. From the pretty village of Elounda, reached by traveling the northern coastal route, you will take a private traditional fishing boat to the island of Spinalonga - a former Venetian fortress and leper colony. Spinalonga was made globally famous from the best-seller book of Victoria Hislop, ‘’The Island’’. After the walking tour, your boat will leave and you will visit the beautiful, secluded beach of Kolokytha. Kolokytha is preserved and protected, since it is part of a Natural Reserve. There the captain and the crew will prepare for you an amazing lunch, grilled on the coast, while you are swimming in the turquoise waters. On the way back, you will stop at the small, charming town of Agios Nikolaos for a coffee break or shopping. After this you will be driven back to your hotel. Evening is free. Overnight.

 

Day 10 

This is your last day in Crete and after checking out, your personal driver will take you to Iraklion International Airport to take your flight back to Athens. The flight takes around 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Athens International Airport our service is over and you will be ready to check in for your international flight.
