TRIP OVERVIEW

Orogu Tours & Travel (u) limited we do organise day Tours and Trip, excursions that can let you tour Jinjas' best safari destinations in the shortest time possible. Our short prescribed safaris are organised in a way that  you are able to carry out various activities such as; White water Rafting, Quadbiking on the Nile, Kayaking on the Nile, Horseback Safaris on the Nile, Nile High Bungee Jumping, Mountain Biking, Boat Cruise on the Nile, Bird Watching, Fishing Trips, Scenic flights along the river Nile, Big Game Mini Gold, Wine and Dinings, cafes and Restaurants and alot more.

Day 1Discover the Jinja Source of the Nile.

Our Driver and Tour Guide will picked from your hotel early in the morning or on your arrival at the airport, and there you begin your journey to Eastern Uganda. Enroute stop over at the Sezibwa falls- a unique Buganda cultural site located along the Jinja Kampala highway. An episode stop over Sezibwa Falls will lead you to a great program of exploring the falls which proceeds with the trip passing through Mabira forest where you will stop over for a forest nature walk, while here you will encounter different species of butterfly and primates including the red tailed monkey, grey cheeked managabey, vervet monkeys among others. 

Probably, this will take you upto lunch hours and aAfter lunch, yoou will proceed to Jinja and head directly to the Source of the Nile( world’s longest river). You will explore the source on canoes or motorised boat with a big scan of craft shops  for some souvenirs. After a wonderful of enjoyment we shall check you in your place of accommodation and have dinner.

Day 2: White Water Rafting

After breakfast, you will be customised to some briefing, fitting of life jackets  and few minutes training by the tour guide. Be driven to the start spot where you will join the team though grade 5 rapids for over 11 km.  If your doing half day rafting, your trip will end on Malubisi island where you have lunch and drinks but if your on full day , it will continue to the last Nile Special wave with a mouth watering buffet and drinks at the end.

Note: If you’re not interested in rafting, there are optional fun-filled activities you can enjoy while on tour in Jinja and these include Bungee Jumping, River Kayaking, Quad biking, horseback riding, Jet boating among others. Just let us know which activity you want and we will add it to the itinerary.

Day ends back for dinners and sleep

Day 3: Samuka Island

 After an early breakfast, we shall set off for the source of the Nile/Samuka Island tour-Using a motorized boat to view the point where it believed to be the Real Source of the Nile, at this point water water is seen coming out from the ground and then joins by the waters of Lake Victoria, this kind of joining forms a Confluence/fountain before it proceeds 4000 miles to Egypt. 

While on your exploration, you have a glance of giant monitor lizards, birds and wonderful vegetations take photos and catch memories to last a life time. Samuka Island is referred to as the BIRDS paradise. The ride trip lasts to about 45 minutes arriving at Samuka take a simple nature walk/bird watching and you wait for a delicacy lunch. Later in the afternoon we shall take the boat back to Jinja for dinner and sleep.

Day 4: Jinja Sightseeing

After an early breakfast by 8.00am, we shall drive you around Jinja city the capital of tourism adventures with great snearies. And here we shall lead to places like Masese landing site to have an eye catch of live jumping talapia and nile parch fish brought in daily as an economic activity for the poeple living arround the shores and from the islands like Buvuma Island, and the rest.

Through the Bidco industrial circuit road we shall drive you through Bugembe Town to Egenge Hill, the formerly known Kyabazinga Hill Palace. The hill give you a clear sight of view of Jinja City and its neighboorhood from all different angles. I would compare this hill to that of Signal Hill in capetown which gives the similar views of city with a strectch to roben Island more to samuka Island. Hence, you could take sceneric photos for your blog gallery.

After Egenge Hill, we lead you down the Hill to Agricultural tourism scenaries like Kakira Sugar Plantation look at the real plant that produces the most sweet crystal on earth Called "Sugar". Day ends and drive for dinner and sleep.

Day 5: Itanda Falls/Kalagala Falls

After an early breakfast by 8.00am, we sail to Itanda falls found along the river Nile in Jinja. Most people visiting Jinja do not know about Itanda falls except for those who are there to go white water rafting. The famous Bujagali falls that might be just a few ripples now but that doesn’t mean the Nile is peaceful and boring. Just a short distance from Bujagali the Nile fiercely breaks into the roaring Itanda falls. The falls are such a magnificent and almost equally scary sight. Then back to town, small window shopping, dinner and sleep.

Day 6: Crafts Shopping and Back to Kampala/Airport

After an early breakfast by 8.00am, we shall take you for a guided nuture walk arround Jinja city streets for crafts shop shoppings upto midday -12.00pm. Drive you back to Kampala or Airport.
