Detailed itinerary:

 

Day 1
Arrival. Our tour guide welcomes you at the airport. Transfer. Hotel check-in. Rest. 

Day 2 

Yerevan City Tour. Yerevan is like a fairy-tale city on New Year’s Eve. Immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of the Republic Square marveling at the giant Christmas tree with its thousands of lights in the middle of the square. Walking down the Abovyan Street, the oldest streets in Yerevan which was on the Silk Road, Northern Avenue, Opera House. Visiting the Cascade and take the escalators in order to explore the  Cafesjian Center for the Arts. Continue to "Mother Armenia Statue" with a bird's eye view of Yerevan and the biblical Mount Ararat. Visiting the city "Bazaar", the Blue Mosque and the church of St. Gregory the Illuminator. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 3 

Free day. Explore Yerevan on your own!
Evening Program: Welcoming the new Year 2015 at one of the best Armenian restaurants with live music, lots of food and drinks.


Day 4

An unforgettable tour to Garni Pagan Temple and Geghard Cave Monastery. Garni is a 1st century temple similar to the Greek Parthenon located at a stunning mountainous setting surrounded by deep gorges. It’s the only Hellenistic temple in the territory of the former USSR countries. Continue to Geghard Monastery (13th century) carved out of a huge rock.It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was here where the “holy spear” was kept piercing Christ’s side.

Day 5 


Visit the biggest ski resort of Armenia, the town of Tsakhkadzor (“Valley of Flowers”). There are excellent conditions for cross country skiing and snowboarding especially on the Teghenis Mountain for which you can use Chair Lift. So just prepare your skis, skate and snowboard clothing: goggles, gloves, warm hats and etc. to enjoy your winter holiday here. By the way you can find all ski, skate and snowboard equipments in the town for rent. Then visit Kecharis medieval monastic complex (13th century) located in the town.


Day 6 
Transfer to airport. Departure.
